QUEENSLAND STATE & BRISBANE HEAT CONTRACTED PLAYERS
As part of the MOU all Australian-based State Contracted players are entitled to have the National Registration Fee waived for Premier Cricket competitions. Queensland Cricket will work with these players directly to have them registered to PlayHQ for the season, and will then issue Permits to make them available for Premier Cricket. This process is expected to be finalised by mid-August and will also apply to any International players only contracted for the T20 Max competition. We ask that Premier Clubs do not request contracted players to register directly to the Premier Club at this stage.
INTERSTATE PLAYERS FOR T20 MAX
Contracted players should contact their State Body to discuss the NRF waiver process as Queensland Cricket will only be activating Queensland and Brisbane-based Heat players. We also recommend that Interstate players first register to their local Premier Club before requesting / issuing a Permit to play in the T20 Max competition.
If local registration is not available Interstate players will need to register online to their Queensland Premier Club and follow the Transfer process described above, and then follow the Permit process to return to their local Club in their home state.
