Since 1927
95 Years, 500 First Grade Players, 60 state representatives, 15 Test, One Day or T20 representatives.
North’s existence is best characterised by eras at three venues: Windsor Park (1928/29-1999/00), Shaw Sports (2000/01-present) and in turn the current facilities we now enjoy. Throughout the decades, the club celebrates the following tier one international players who have worn the two blues.
The club is also extremely proud of West Indies Test and One Day cricketer Brendan Nash and current Japanese captain Kendel Fleming, along with other international representatives including Papua New Guinea, Ireland and Australian First Nations teams.
Formed as Kelvin Grove Electorate Cricket Club in its first season in 1927/28, Northern Suburbs DCC has a rich history. In First Grade, Norths have won eight Two Day premierships, including the incredible three-peat of 1971/72, 72/73 and 73/74, and seven One Day titles. The Club Championship has been claimed six times, including four in a row between the 1969/70 and 1973/74 seasons.
